Reed Petroski
Lead Instructor
1. Experience
With over 15 years immersed in the game, Reed Petroski blends the pedigree of a competitive junior golfer with the refinement of a modern coach. Mentored by renowned instructors Grant Halverson and Harry Rudolph III, Reed developed a foundation that carried him through a decorated high school career at The Bishop’s School, where he captured multiple league titles alongside his teammate Tony.
Reed went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from USC. While not a member of the official Trojan golf team, he gained invaluable insight training alongside its players, sharpening his understanding of elite performance and the nuances of the game at the highest level.
Today, Reed’s coaching philosophy is defined by a hands-on, bespoke approach. He elevates players by refining the strengths they already possess rather than reinventing their swings. His passion lies in connecting with golfers from every walk of life, translating his deep knowledge into meaningful improvements that feel authentic and lasting.
At SuperSwings, Reed embodies the luxury lifestyle of golf—merging tradition, precision, and personal connection to help every player unlock their game with confidence and style.

4. Favorite Club or Shot
In high school, Reed’s trusted RBZ Stage 2 driver and 3-wood were legendary in his bag, sending the ball soaring with effortless distance. But his most memorable moment came with a 7-iron in hand—a crisp approach from the rough on the 9th at La Jolla Country Club. With the match hanging in the balance and the gallery watching, he stuck it close, rolled in the birdie, and sealed the team victory in unforgettable fashion.
5. Go-To San Diego Golf Course
Reed’s local favorites are Maderas Golf Club, celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes and championship-caliber design, and Aviara Golf Club, a coastal gem known for its immaculate conditions and resort-style elegance.
